Objective
Aims to summarize and review the existing work and seek promising research interests in this field, expecting to inspire more thought leading to breakthroughs in the near future.
Conclusions
In summary, evidence-based TCM research has provided an effective way for practitioners to understand TCM. It has profoundly influenced the way researchers percept research quality, accumulate data and develop appropriate evaluation methods, and helps test the efficacy of a number of TCM interventions. It has provided a space in which TCM and modern information technologies meet.
