Objective
To verify the immediate pain-alleviation characteristic of acupuncture for biliary colic (BC), then to explore its influence on the peripheral sensitised acupoint and central brain activity.
Conclusions
The findings may provide evidence of the clinical benefits and mechanisms of acupuncture for patients with biliary colic (BC).
