Objective
To aim at summarizing the latest and most comprehensive information on traditional Chinese medicine therapeutic methods for promoting immune reconstruction.
Conclusions
In conclusion, highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) is still the most effective treatment for HIV/AIDS, but it cannot completely achieve immunological reconstruction. Because of the outstanding advantages of TCM in regulating immunity, it is usually chosen as a supplementary treatment for incomplete immune reconstitution (IIR) in China.
