Objective
To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of acupuncture for emotional symptoms in patients with functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGIDs).
Conclusions
This meta-analysis found that acupuncture can alleviate emotional symptoms in functional gastrointestinal disorder (FGID) patients better than pharmacotherapy.
