This study is aimed to explore association between gastrointestinal heat retention syndrome (GHRS) and recurrent respiratory tract infections (RRTIs). This study also aimed to supplement the TCM etiology that suggests deficiency of ZhengQi is an instinct factor driving RRTI.
Conclusions
Relieving gastrointestinal heat retention syndrome (GHRS) should be considered when TCM practitioners treat ecurrent respiratory tract infections (RRTIs) children, and this may protect children from suffering respiratory tract infections (RTIs).
