Objective
To provide an overview of systematic reviews (SRs) of the treatment of infectious diseases with Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) that could serve as a reference for decision-making in this field.
Conclusions
Overall, Chinese herbal medicine (CHM), both decoction and Chinese patent medicine, used alone or in combination with conventional medicine may offer potential benefits to relieving symptoms of people with acute respiratory infections.
