Objective
To investigate the real-world effectiveness of Battlefield Acupuncture (BFA) on immediate pain relief and identify subgroups of patients for whom BFA is most effective within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) system.
Conclusions
Battlefield Acupuncture (BFA) demonstrated effectiveness in providing immediate pain relief for a majority of Veterans, with over three quarters experiencing decreased pain intensity, particularly among those without recent opioid use.
