Objective
To investigate the efficacy and safety of honey as a therapeutic agent for various conditions in the oral cavity.
Conclusions
Honey is an effective treatment for a range of oral ulcerative conditions, though future research is needed to analyze the composition of different honeys and the safety of Manuka honey in the oral cavity.
