Objective
To investigate whether acupuncture can be an effective treatment for patients with tinnitus.
Conclusions
The study concluded that the current scientific evidence does not support the effectiveness of acupuncture for treating tinnitus, but it suggested that acupuncture may be effective for managing specific subtypes of tinnitus with further research needed.
