Objective
This study focuses on summarizing the characteristics and advantages of TCM in acupuncture treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED) based on relevant literature and on predicting and analyzing the related mechanisms.
Conclusions
The results of the present research show that acupuncture is effective in the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED), especially functional ED, and conforms to the guidelines for providing comprehensive treatment but is limited by insufficient evidence.
