DOI 10.1155/2022/2113769
Objective
This study aims to screen differential metabolites in plasma of psoriasis vulgaris (PV) of blood heat syndrome based on a widely targeted metabolomic technique and to analyze syndrome metabolic markers and metabolic pathways.
Conclusions
Plasma metabonomics of PV with blood heat syndrome was analyzed and found multiple differential metabolites of ginkgolic acid, PQQ, L-aspartic acid, and citramalic acid, which are considered to be potential biomarkers of blood-heat syndrome PV.
Critical Appraisal
Published research can offer valuable insights, but a paper’s conclusions may go beyond what its results support. Critical appraisal examines the methods, findings and limitations to clarify what can reasonably be concluded—and what remains uncertain.
