Objective
To investigate the comparative effectiveness and safety of commonly used oral poly-herbal traditional Chinese medicine formulations combined with Western medicine for treating benign prostatic hyperplasia using a network meta-analysis.
Conclusions
The study concluded that combining oral poly-herbal traditional Chinese medicine formulations with Western medicine may provide greater therapeutic benefits than Western medicine alone for benign prostatic hyperplasia, with Jingui Shenqi pill, Guizhi Fuling capsule, Pulean tablet, and Huange capsule emerging as promising options.
