KEGG enrichment analysis revealed pathways related to inflammation, apoptosis, senescence, and autophagy, including the AGE-RAGE signaling pathway, TNF signaling pathway, IL-17 signaling pathway, cellular senescence, apoptosis, and PI3K-Akt signaling pathway.

The PPI network and molecular docking confirmed the interactions between nine bioactive ingredients of MBSHXD and core target proteins, supporting its "multi-component, multi-target, and multi-pathway" characteristics in treating IDD.
